Join Rumi for an amazing five week series of Cuban Salsa classes in the upstairs Random Harvest Community Space! This is a beginner social dancing series. No partner or experience necessary. Classes are every Monday from 6:30-7:30 Oct 7th- Nov 4th. Full Session for Individuals is $125, Couples is $222. You can drop in the first two weeks to check it out for $30/class.

Welcome to DanceForJoy, my name is Laura Abad. My spiritual name is Ruminkedeima, and I go by Rumi for short. I am an entrepreneur, Reiki healer, Dream Builder, and Life Coach. I am also a Waldorf Early Childhood Teacher, Dancer, and a Lover of Life! I started taking Cuban salsa, also known as Casino, and Afro-Cuban lessons 8 years ago at the Messina Dance Company and later with Palenke Cuban Dance in North Carolina. I have traveled to Cuba a few times to learn from the “Masters”. In addition to Casino, I am also well-versed in Bachata, Kizomba, NY Salsa, and more.
